Program 2022

Like the previous years our festival begins at 12.00 and the official program ends around 01.00 when all is coming apart.

We add bands to the program until it’s full – expect 6-8 amazing experiences. Changes might occur but some of these changes however might be good changes 🙂

Currently these bands will play at Foxtail 2022:

Baskery is a Swedish alternative Americana folk rock band, comprising the three sisters Greta, Stella and Sunniva Bondesson. The band have released four studio albums.

El Ray

Ladies and Gentlemen!

Copenhagen, Denmark. Maybe not the most logic place for a band to emerge with the obvious surfing pedigree of a band like El Ray. The band show a versatility of sound and an ear for catchy, toe tapping melody’s which embrace the listeners both into – and beyond the cliches of the surfing genre. El Rays combination of fresh, modern style with a polite salute to the history of surf – it´s ‘surf with a twist’. El Ray welcome you to the new, classic sound.

The bands 4 full length releases, the two 10″ inches and the singles are known to have been recorded during blizzards, heatwaves, and pandemics, far away from the Californian lifestyle. Every album has received excellent reviews! Whatever the secret is, El Ray keeps on giving you the sweet goose bumping, hair raising instro-surf!

El Ray’s merits have proved the band to be a serious contender in writing and performing modern instrumentals that would make your hifi-stereo A GO-GO!! The four Scandinavians have built their own brand within the surfing circles since 2001 and have headlined the biggest surf festivals around the world. El Ray is well known for mixing their dynamic, cool, punked up surf tunes with a spoonful of rock’n’roll and a tad indie to make everybody happy when “it’s better to be surf than sorry”.

Better Surf Than Sorry – it’s time to join the party!

Ashley On The Trail

The three Ashley members have only been performing live since 2018, but they have been close friends and

musical partners since 2006 when they met at a record store in the middle of Copenhagen, where they all worked.

From the beginning the three felt a special musical connection, a particular blend of their

respective vocal styles, and soon they found themselves playing music with each other

every time they hung out.

After a lot of years of singing in each others living rooms they finally decided to form a band, and they have been performing ever since under the moniker “Ashley on the Trail”.

The Saloon Men

TheSaloonMen (sometimes also known as The Saloon Men) formed in 2002 and have been playing country, bluegrass & western (including blood-country and western-swing variants) ever since. We play and party as a team but once in a while you or we might opt for a reduced group. We have played all over Denmark and in many European cities.

To attend the festival you’ll need to buy a ticket in advance. You can do this at the Ticket shop.
