Foxtail Festival 2026 poster
The poster for the 2026 festival is made by the talented Thor Leon from Bright Side Tattoo. It introduces a new Foxtail character: the banjo-playing, fur-hunting mountain man.
He’s wandered down from the high country with a banjo across his knee, a fox at his heel, and a pocket full of ol’time tunes — and on August 15th he’s bringing the whole hollerin’ lot of them down to Refshalevej.

Foxtail Festival 2025 poster
The poster for Foxtail 2025 features a kitsune – the mythical, multi-tailed fox from Japanese folklore – as our new mascot!
Kitsune represent curiosity, transformation, and experience. It fits Foxtail perfectly, where you discover lots of new music, learn something (e.g., how to love the banjo), and become part of something bigger. Nine tails also naturally bring extra foxy energy 🦊⚡️
